For Teachers

4Kali.org teachers are pioneering spirits who are eager to learn and not afraid to challenge their own preconceptions about effective teaching and learning. The 4Kali team works together to create exciting new Schemes of Work and resources for the teaching of English. Through this process 4Kali teachers, in collaboration with their Thai counterparts, are able to explore new ways of using their skills and experience to create models of excellence. Gradually, through this cooperative teamwork approach, teachers will have the opportunity to further develop their skills, creating a dynamic model for school improvement.

If you would like to be a part of our programme you may become involved in a variety of ways.

Classroom Teacher
We have opportunities for fully qualified, trained and experienced teachers of all subjects who can teach English. These positions are funded and a stipend is available to cover living costs. You must be available for 6 months minimum.

Language Assistants
We also have opportunities for those applicants with TEFL training. As with the Classroom teachers these positions are supported with a stipend. You must be available for 6 months minimum.

If you have only just completed your training and need experience to consolidate your skills, this can be provided in a supportive environment. You won't be expected to teach solo but will enjoy the opportunity to work as a team teacher with a mentor.

Trainee Teachers
For people with no prior teaching experience we offer volunteer Trainee Teacher positions. These positions offer the opportunity to receive Initial Teacher Training based on the Post Graduate Certificate of Education Courses run by British universities. We are exploring the possibility of gaining accreditation for our training course.

To be eligible for this training opportunity you must be prepared to commit to the programme for at least 3 months.
